Program Content:Get ready to sweat, punch, and power up! This six-week Adult Boxing program is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will learn fundamental boxing techniques including footwork, punches, combinations, and conditioning drills. No prior boxingexperience is required, this class is suitable for beginners and those looking to build on existing skills. Participants must purchase and bring their own boxing gloves to each class.Registration Information: Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA  02601.   Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Resident and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.    Residents - Wednesday, March 4, 2026 Non-Residents - Wednesday, March 11, 2026    Requirements: Adults 18+ Participants should wear appropriate clothing they can move in. Participants should bring a water bottle. Participants must purchase and bring their own boxing gloves to each class. Fees:Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.Participant Minimum (Subject to Change): 12Participant Maximum: 20Schedules:Please check specific program dates, times, and locations. Program Content: Kids Jiu-Jitsu and Little Warriors programs are designed to build confidence, discipline, and fitness through fun martial arts training. Both programs emphasize safety, respect, and personal growth, making them perfect for your child to thrive both on and off the mat. No uniform required – just wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes.Little Warriors (Ages 4-6)   Thursdays: March 19-April 23 4:00-4:45 PMLittle Warriors focuses on introducing basic Jiu-Jitsu techniques and movement skills in a playful, interactive environment. Kids will learn respect, teamwork, and coordination while having fun!Kids Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 7-13)Fridays March 20-April 24 5:00-6:00 PMKids Jiu-Jitsu offers more advanced techniques, focusing on self-defense, strength, and character development.
