Red Cross Babysitting
Program Content:
This baby sitter's training course, developed by the Red Cross, will give you the safety skills and confidence to be a great babysitter. You'll learn what to expect from parents, plus the skills you need to handle any real-life situation.
Registration Information:
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
- Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2026 for Residents and Non-Residents on Thursday, November 12, 2026 and ongoing until the program is full.
Requirements:
- Grades 4&5
- Participants must attend the entire class.
- Participants should bring a water bottle.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.

Please check specific program dates, times, and locations. Recreation staff will contact participants for any changes to the program.
Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
