Adult Sewing: Bag Making
Program Content:
Learn how to create your own stylish and functional fabric bag in this hands-on sewing class for adults! Participants will be guided through each step, from cutting fabric to sewing seams, attaching handles, and assembling a finished bag. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced sewers alike, offering the opportunity to build skills while creating a personalized bag. All experience levels are welcome.
Registration Information:
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
- Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Resident and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.

- Non-Residents - Wednesday, September 16, 2026
Requirements:
- Sewing Machine.
- If you do not have a sewing machine please indicate so during registration.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.

Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
