Self Defense Class with Jiu-Jitsu for Adults and Teens: Ages 13+
Program Content:
Learn practical self-defense using the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in this 6-week program for teens and adults. Participants will develop confidence, awareness, and effective techniques to escape and control situations safely. No experience needed. Beginner-friendly and open to all levels. Train, learn, and empower yourself.
Registration Information:
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
- Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Resident and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.

- Non-Residents - Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Requirements:
- Participants must be 13+ years old.
- Participants should wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes.
- Participants should bring a water bottle.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.

Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
