Preschool: Ages 3-5
Thursdays: July 2 - August 6 9:00 - 9:45 AM
Introduce your little one to the joy of movement! Our Preschool Dance class is designed to encourage creativity and self -expression through fun, age -appropriate activities in a safe, welcoming environment. Your child will develop basic dance skills while having fun with music and movement!
Hip Hop/Acro
Thursdays: July 2 - August 6
Ages 5 - 7 4:00 -4:45 PM
Ages 7 - 10 4:45 -5:30 PM
A perfect mix of two dynamic styles! This class combines the rhythmic moves of hip hop with acrobatic tricks to create a fun and exciting learning experience. Students will explore basic tumbling, stretches, and hip hop choreography, all while boosting their flexibility, strength, and creativity.
All programs are taught by the highly experienced Beth Walsh, in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Whether your child is just starting or looking to expand their skills, these classes provide a creative outlet for self -expression and personal growth.
Registration Information:
- Resident: Wednesday, May 6
- Non-Resident: Wednesday, May 20
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
- Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Residents and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.
Requirements:
- Participants ages 3-10.
- Participants should wear form fitting comfortable clothing to move in.
- Dance shoes are not required but recommended.
- Participants should bring a water bottle.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.

Please check specific program dates, times, and locations. Recreation staff will contact participants for any changes to the program.
Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
