Program Content:
The Jr. RedHawks Basketball Clinics will focus of the following basketball skills:
Dribbling: Advancement, control, and protection
Passing: Different types, efficiency, and making the right pass
Shooting: Perfect form and how to increase shot percentage
Defense: Proper stance, positioning, and containing on/off ball
Transition: Offensive and defensive
Agility: Footwork
Registration Information:
- Residents/Non-Residents: Wednesday, March 18
- Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Residents and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
Requirements:
- Participants should wear athletic attire. Sneakers are required.
- Participants should bring a water bottle.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.
Schedules:
Please check specific program dates, times, and locations. Recreation staff will contact participants for any changes to the program.
Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
