BOOT CAMP: THE ROAD TO 4.0 (Rating Required)
Tuesday: May 12 (Rain date: May 13) 4:00-7:00 PM $100 Res./$110 Non-Res.
An intense, performance-driven training experience designed for players committed to breaking through to 4.0. This Boot Camp requires a 3.5+ DUPR rating or approval by a Straight-Up Coach, ensuring the Camp is competitive and focused on higher-level play. With a 4:1 student-to-coach ratio, you’ll be challenged to: (1) refine shot selection, (2) learn effective partner-based strategies, and (3) implement offensive attacking to consistently win points against stronger opponents. This camp is for players ready to be pushed, coached, and held to a higher standard.

* All Barnstable Recreation lessons are provided by Straight-Up Pickleball and delivered by a passionate, experienced coaching team that truly cares about your progress. With a consistent curriculum and plenty of personal attention, our coaches are excited for the 2026 season and can’t wait to share their love of the game while helping you grow at your own pace.

- Residents: Wednesday, March 4
- Non-Residents: Wednesday, March 11
Requirements:
- Must email Straight Up Pickleball and provide required registration information.
- 3.5 DUPR rating or approval by Straight-Up Coach.
- Participants should wear athletic attire. Sneakers are required.
- Participants should bring their own paddle.
- Participants should bring a water bottle.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.
Schedules:
Please check specific program dates, times, and locations. Recreation staff will contact participants for any changes to the program.
Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
