Program Content:
Kids Jiu-Jitsu and Little Warriors programs are designed to build confidence, discipline, and fitness through fun martial arts training. Both programs emphasize safety, respect, and personal growth, making them perfect for your child to thrive both on and off the mat. No uniform required – just wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes.
Little Warriors (Ages 4-6)
Thursdays: March 19-April 23 4:00-4:45 PM
Little Warriors focuses on introducing basic Jiu-Jitsu techniques and movement skills in a playful, interactive environment. Kids will learn respect, teamwork, and coordination while having fun!
Kids Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 7-13)
Fridays March 20-April 24 5:00-6:00 PM
Kids Jiu-Jitsu offers more advanced techniques, focusing on self-defense, strength, and character development. It’s a fantastic way to boost confidence, improve focus, and stay in shape!
Registration Information:
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
- Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Resident and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.
- Residents - Wednesday, March 4, 2026
- Non-Residents - Wednesday, March 11, 2026
Requirements:
- Participants must be between ages 4-13.
- Participants should wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes.
- Participants should bring a water bottle.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.

Please check specific program dates, times, and locations. Recreation staff will contact participants for any changes to the program.
Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
